Abstract

Moral and ethical dilemmas relating to therapeutic abortion for genetic indications and to modification of human genetic material are discussed. Due to an increasing gap between advances in clinical genetics and every day clinical practice, it is feared that not all practitioners are able to participate in the discussion of these sensitive issues.
