Abstract

An appropriate methodology was developed under the direction of the senior author which allowed us to analyze various 2,4,5-T herbicides for the toxic contaminant 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD). The contaminant was detected at levels of three to fifty-six nanograms per gram (ng g-1), i.e. 3-56 ppb (parts per billion).
