Abstract

This paper describes a first and second order predictor based on a truncated Taylor series approximation on a time varying function. The Laplace transform of the Taylor series is taken to obtain a transfer function for the predictor whereupon the predictor is synthesised with an active RC network. Practical waveforms obtained are presented.
