Abstract

This project investigates the vegetation of the fragmented ridges in the Klerksdorp Municipal area. Motivation for this study lies in the fact that these areas are being threatened by development, e.g. new residential areas, industrial sites and oilier disturbances. This vegetation study forms part of a proposed base plan for the development and conservation of this area.
